Bio
Zephani Idoko was born in Lagos, Nigeria to John and Deborah Idoko, on March 17 1994.
She trained under Diane Baker at the Academy of Art in San Francisco, where she earned a BFA in Acting for Stage and Screen and began her professional career.
Shortly after her graduation and subsequent move to New York, she was cast in the Starring role of Abena in the psychological Horror film The Unsettling. Which follows a West African couple’s vacation to LA and the problems that have followed them, and are seemingly amplified by the house they’ve rented. The Unsettling screened at international festivals in the UK, Australia and New York before its 2023 release to Apple TV and several other US and UK streamers.
Zephani's most recent work includes her supporting role as Sallay in the critically acclaimed Horror film Nanny, which won the top award (The Grand Jury Prize) at Sundance Film festival, guest starring on the second season of HBO Max's Gossip Girl and playing Stephanie on season 2 of Starz series, Power Book II: Ghost.
Zephani currently resides in New York City. Working and splitting her time between there, and LA when necessary.
