Bio
Zephani Idoko was born in Lagos, Nigeria to John and Deborah Idoko, on March 17 1994.
She trained under Diane Baker at the Academy of Art in San Francisco, where she earned a BFA in Acting for Stage and Screen and began her professional career.
Shortly after her graduation and subsequent move to New York, she was cast in the Starring role of Abena in the psychological Horror film The Unsettling. Which follows a West African couple’s vacation to LA and the problems that have followed them, which are seemingly amplified by the house they’ve rented. The Unsettling screened at international festivals in the UK, Australia and New York in 2021 and 2022 and is pending a general release.
Zephani's most recent work includes her supporting role as Sallay in the critically acclaimed Horror film Nanny, which won the top award (The Grand Jury Prize) at the 2022 Sundance Film festival and her role as Stephanie on seasons 2 and 3 of Starz show Power Book II: Ghost. She will also be guest starring on the second season of HBO Max's Gossip Girl.
Zephani currently resides in New York City. Working and splitting her time between there, and LA when necessary.
